Description
Virgomega joins the studio (silently, but deadly), and inspires a set of pop soul & jazz classics, on FC #219. Kicking things off is a ragga-hip hop mix featuring the Champion Sounds of artists such as P.R.T., Ini Kamoze, and Shaq-Fu.
The Crate Highlight is a tweeter-tweaking instrumental track from Galt MacDermot, entitled “Stockyard.” Find out who got their hands on that sample, one hour into the program.
Selections include: The 45 King, Axel F., Black, Rock & Ron, Blackbyrds, Keni Burke, EPMD, Funkmaster Flex And The Ghetto Celebs, The Headhunters, Ice One, Ice-T, James & Bobby Purify, JNyce, Micranots, Naughty By Nature, Nine, Oh No & K Jay, Originoo Gunn Clappaz, Quasimoto, Pete Rock, Roy Ayers Ubiquity, Shyheim, Son of Bazerk, Special Ed, Joe Tex, Bill Withers, and Marlena Shaw.
