Description
In a Funky Corners first, we pay tribute to an artist who isn’t intrinsically related to rap, funk, or urban culture. David Bowie has passed, and we devote Show #202 to music that he inspired, AKA tracks in which he was sampled.
Selections include: 184 Productions, Charli Baltimore, The Bullitts, Crooked I, Godfather Don, House Of Pain, Ice Cube J Dilla, J-Zone, Jay-Z, Lace Da Booms, MC Lyte, Rapsody, Saigon, Sir Mix-A-Lot, Soldiers, and Ol’ Dirty Bastard.
