Description
It’s nearing the end of summer, and to wind things down properly we present an all-soul/funk show. Two hours of preferential grooves and original samples.
Instead of playing hip hop songs that sample soul tracks, we double-flip the Crate Highlight, and present funk versions of rap tracks.
Selections include: Afrique, Gary Bartz, Breakout, Bat Britt, Clarence Wheeler & The Enforcers, The Delegation, El Michels Affair, Robert Jay, Lefties Soul Connection, Mr. Chop, People’s Choice, Pleasure, Markis Precise, J. Rawls, The Soul Lifters, Ted Coleman Band, Trama, Uncle Louie, Visioneers, and Sweet Charles.
