Description
Wheels is back, and (sort of) fully-plans the show. The first half is sliced up between instrumental beats, Golden Era hip hop, and 70s funk. The second half of the program is almost exclusively devoted to the Crate Highlight.
As mentioned, we drop the unassuming Le Pamplemousse track “Gimmie What You Got,” and are able to fill a full hour with the hip hop that sampled it.
Selections include: 3 Grand, Tha Alkaholiks, Big Daddy Kane, Boot Camp Clik, Eaze, Eminem, Geto Boys, GZA, J Rocc, Johnny Madwreck, Jurassic 5, K-9 Posse, Kato, Kil Emil, MC Shan, MEDL4, The Meters, Mista 93, Nas, Cyril Neville, Pete Rock, Playdough And Heath Mc Nease, Rakim, Redman, Sir Fresh & D.J. Critical, T.D.S. Mob, Tuff Crew, and Larry Robbins Sportstudio Band.
