It’s freezing and snowing in the better part of Upstate New York. To counterbalance the bleak meteorological outlook for the foreseeable future, we drop an extended sunny West Coast hip hop set in Show #154. We also supply the standard funk and beats that Funky Corners is known for.
We feature Bob James, once again, in the Crate Highlight segment. This time it’s the track “Look-Alike” off of his 1979 album “Lucky Seven.”
Selections include: Ahmad, Baby Huey, The Enticers, Funkdoobiest, Lafayette Afro Rock Band, Madlib, Tony Mahoney, Mr. Moods, Souls Of Mischief, Violent Moods, plus a 3-song “Tramp” set.
