Description
We set off Show #153 with a World-Premier track from D.A. Jay, then follow up with a mini ragga-hip hop set. We swing into the funk, then round off the first hour with a bit of underground rap.
The Crate Highlight features one of Roy Ayers’ most ubiquitous (*ahem) songs, by the name of “We Live In Brooklyn, Baby.” The second hour of the show is devoted to tracks which sampled it.
Selections include: Al’ Tariq, Beastie Boys, Beatnuts, Black Moon, Bush Killer, Da Nayborhoodz, Das EFX, Holografik, K’naan, PJ Katz, Quasimoto, RBX, and Sweet Charles.
