Description
We’ve been progressing with the dancehall selections recently, and Show #136 is no exception. Not one, but two ragga hip hop sets are layed out. Also some slick jazz and undergroundish rap fill in the cracks.
We drop Ahmad Jamal during the Crate Highlight segment. Notable samplers of the track “Misdemeanor” are Black Moon, Gang Starr, Mic Geronimo, and Pete Rock.
Selections include: Jack Arel, Buju Banton, Dennis Coffey, Das EFX, Digital Underground, Doug E. Fresh & The New Get Fresh Crew, Sugar Billy Garner, Grandmaster Flash & The Furious Five, Bob James, Jurassic 5, Mad Lion, Playdough and Heath McNease, Nardo Ranks, RJD2, Spark 950 & Timbo King, and D.A. Jay.
