Description
Happy Holidays! It’s the annual Funky Corners Christmas/Hanukkah/Yule/Kwanzaa program. We can’t really pigeonhole our show into one religion, so consider it a “Celebration of the Season,” with WCDB’s very own Santa Claus-type figure, Raider’s Hat. We get down for the Holiday in every way you’d expect from Funky Corners.
We take a page from last year’s set list and kick the Clarence Carter track which Run-D.M.C. sampled for “Christmas in Hollis.” It just wouldn’t be the same without it!
Selections include: Bone-Thugs-N-Harmony, Dana Dane, Eazy-E, Electric Jungle, Hard Rock, Donny Hathaway, Jackson 5, Juice Crew, Moka Only, Mr. Lif, Papa Nucc, Scribbling Idiots, Shawn Lee’s Ping Pong Orchestra, and the Berlin Symphony Orchestra.
