Description
It didn’t take long for the “Return of the Happy Rap,” aka Funky Corners Show #102. However, listener requests prevent the show from going all Polkadelic for the full 2 hours. Also, T_Wheels has a case of mushmouth throughout, and learns the apparent technical realities of playing Positive K on-air.
We feature the track “Four Play,” which was sampled in Digital Underground’s “Packet Man,” and the Gang Starr track “Step in the Arena.” As usual, the Crate Highlight segment is half-way through the program.
Selections include: Black Sheep, Bronx River Parkway, Connie Price & The Keystones, Dabrye, First Platoon, Fu-Schnickens, Godfather Don, Redman, Erick Sermon, Smif-N-Wessun, Steady B, Step Brothers, and a triple “Before I Let Go” set.
