Description
Happy Valentine’s Day! It’s that sugary, overly-hyped, commercial holiday full of obligation and unwanted advances. However, Funky Corners is feeling the love and we decided to bring you the best hip hop & funk the season has to offer. T_Wheels is joined in the studio by the Duchess herself, Lady J (aka Virgomega) for two hours of music so sweet, you’ll need a filling.
To get you in the mood, we lay out the provocative “Risin’ to the Top” for our Crate Affair of the evening.
Selections include: Mary J. Blige, Bush Babees & Mos Def, Cash Money & Marvelous, Bootsy Collins, Gang Starr, The Isley Brothers, Leon Haywood, Judy Clay & William Bell, PJ Katz, Lee Fields & The Expressions, Mad Lion, Outkast, Tom Scott, Slick Rick, and J. Dilla.
