Simon Scott Vol.3

Autumn is a very peculiar time of year for me. I love the changing seasons here in the UK, and Cambridge is currently a mass of leaves swirling down to the ground all red, golden, orange and tan. I enjoy sunshine, despite spending all of the summer locked in my studio making a new album (due out on Miasmah in 2011). When the nights draw in I get an uneasy feeling deep within and require a deep breath as I anticipate the looming winter. This is why the mix begins with Scahefer's flamenco guitar and includes my own 'Silenne' (edit) that was written in the sunshine. It also features Tim Hecker and Machinefabriek (in below sealevel with me) who I toured with earlier this summer. I hope it brings in a little sunshine if you require light at the moment. - Simon Scott
