Ryan Teague Exclusive

This mix represents my interest and love of electronic and electro-acoustic Jazz. There’ll be some familiar contenders here (Supersilent for example), but hopefully a few things which will be new to many listeners (Dawid Szczesny anyone?).

It never ceases to amaze me how this area of music still appears somewhat overlooked, so maybe we can attune a few ears in this direction.

The collection starts with a short forthcoming piece of my own featuring clarinetist Gareth Davis and evolves through numerous forms, from electronic and sample based, to entirely acoustic. The thread that runs through them all is a sense of broken and abstract rhythm combined with a textural and ambient sense of harmony and melody. - Ryan Teague
