This mix is inspired by artists who utilize environmental sound and field recordings in their works, be it electronically treated or unprocessed location recordings. The mix incorporates various aspects of our everyday soundscapes, from silence to noise, objects to people, animals to weather. What unites them for me is how all manage to conjure a sense of place, memory and journey.

Most tracks are excerpts of often long evolving works. I strongly advise plugging this mix into your speakers or getting it on headphones, and let the sound immerse you and the room you are in.
