For many decades, namely until the fall of the communist regime in 1989, Czech experimental music was hidden behind the Iron Curtain. Only in the last twenty years has the Czech contemporary music scene started to spread throughout the rest of the world.

This mix purports to be my subjective introduction of the multifarious Czech experimental music scene between the years 1966 to 2011. I hope you enjoy it! - Jara Tarnovski (Gurun Gurun)
