Heat Death Records Showcase

This is a mix showcasing some of Heat Death’s releases so far and some that are yet to come, alongside artists I will/may/want to work with in future and some of my favourite music that I have found being given away for free across the internet.

Naturally not everything is in there, I can think of notable exceptions from the label’s own roster and some equally excellent netlabel releases but after many drafts of this mix this was the only running order that made sense to me.

Post-rock sits alongside ambient drones, modern classical, folktronica and americana, which makes for an interesting hour of music I hope. Nearly everything here can be downloaded legally if you search for it, but a lot of it also has some kind of limited run CD to buy – so I would urge fans of physical media to go looking for them. - Ian (Heat Death Records)
