A companion piece to 'a study in black and white,' this was made to highlight some of the more uptempo pieces that I enjoyed this past year (uptempo being a relative term). It's also my attempt to expose some of the albums that I loved as a whole by choosing multiple tracks and making small 'mini-mixes' out of them, rather than trying to choose just one song to represent the entire record.
