This month I was going to do my usual for a January show with a review of 2023 and pick my favourite songs from last year's shows - but threw that idea out the window late last month after remembering mention of the upcoming exhibition in the Barbican, London that opens on 12th January titled " From The Carribbean to Coventry - Plotting The Rise of Two-Tone ". To celebrate this exhibition and the music that influenced the creation of two tone and then the two-tone label itself I have pulled together for this month's playlist two hours of the finest Two-Tone, Trojan, Ska and Reggae tracks. Mainly all well known in some version or the other I am not digging out obscurities this month, just going for a simple, start the year, clear the hangovers approach . Hope you enjoy it !
