After a five-year absence, Jazz Brugge is back in full regalia. The umbrella flag Crossing Cultures is being further expanded, bringing together sounds, influences and genres from our region with music from all corners of the world, from songs from the Black Sea region to Afro-Caribbean accents and Syrian compositions. Organizers KAAP and Concertgebouw Brugge choose resolutely for vibrant jazz by original voices that pursue their own expression, such as Sélène Saint-Aimé, Naïssam Jalal or Belgian revelations Trombone Ensemble Nabou Claerhout and Sophie Tassignon. With the 30th anniversary of W.E.R.F. Records on the one hand and the first batch of Belgium Booms talent on the other, Jazz Brugge covers the entire spectrum from established values to emerging talent. https://www.kaap.be/jazz-brugge This mix was broadcast on www.nessradio.com
