At the age of 63 this GREAT man left us with an amazing legacy of Jazz, passion, love & friendship. Rik Bevernage, the founder of De Werf and the W.E.R.F. records label was like a father figure for the Belgian Jazz. He did everything in his own way, really everything. Stubborn, modest and generous. A mentor and a tower of strength that we will miss. Rest in peace my friend. This mix was recorded at Jazz In The Box on March 15 in Bredene, and dedicated to Rik.
