Recently I bought "The Dealer" by Chico, "Sun Ship" by Coltrane, "Attica Blues" by Archie Shepp and I got "Mingus Mingus Mingus Mingus Mingus" as a present from my good friend Dominique, so I decided to select ALL Impulse! vinyl records. While the label (Impulse!) is certainly associated more closely with John Coltrane than any other of its artists, it nonetheless established and forwarded the careers of dozens of jazzers. :=
