Steve Storme aka ‘Dj Storm’ is born and raised in Ostend! Music has always been his passion and that started to show at a young age as he started to dj at the age of 16. Back in 1994 he was the first DJ in Ostend who introduced Jungle and Drum 'n Bass to the big public. After a few years and numerous gigs across Flanders, he became resident DJ at a local venue “The Fame” in Ostend. In the following two years at “The Fame” he started playing a more eclectic sound. Due to other responsibilities the DJ’ing stopped for several years, but the love and interest for music still grew. In 2017 the first taste of DJ’ing came back, as a friend started a bar and asked Steve to come and play some tunes. At that moment he knew he found his long-lost love again. These days you can hear him play at the Crayon, the Copador or the Manuscript! He now plays an eclectic mix of old-school house, hip hop, soul, funk jazz and alternative tunes!
