Ghent night veteran No Sleep Richy has been an active player in the Belgian hip-hop scene since 1991. He was also the driving force behind the collective DHL (DéHaël), the crew that in the second half of the golden nineties guaranteed a series of monumental mixtapes and a lot of vinyl releases (Kinky Star / Brick 9000 / Greed Records). Nowadays he is half of the controversial DJ duo Harde Smart, he drops an impressive sample of Dutch hip-hop with his mixtape series 'Gevaarlijk' and he still makes one or other (Ghent) club unsafe every week.
