Description
Nabou Claerhout (°1993, Antwerp) is a Belgian trombonist, composer, arranger and educator. From a very young age Nabou had the chance to work and play with (inter)national musicians such as Bert Joris, John Ruocco, Dave Holland, Dave Douglas, Evan Parker, Martin Fondsen, Jules Buckley, Jeroen van Herzeele, Ilja Reijngoud, Bart van Lier, Andy Hunter, Bert Boeren, Akua Naru and many more. In 2014 Nabou played for the first time at the North Sea Jazz Festival. Later in 2016 she started her own project N∆BOU. This four-pieced band is a collection of musicians she played with over several years. This is a project where Nabou shares all her inspiration and love for music via the compositions and the chemistry you see happening between the musicians live on stage. Currently Nabou plays with various other bands and orchestras such as Pompelomina, AM.OK, Tadpole Evolution and Azbeul. www.nabouclaerhout.com
