MikiGold was a vinyl collector and jazz-pianist/flutist before she started dj’ing. "I once needed a new turntable and instead I bought two. That was 2008. Shortly after I made a demo and won a slot at the big 10 Days Off festival in my hometown Gent.” One year later she formed SupAfly Collective, a creative platform to promote hiphop culture with a feminin touch. With Supafly she organises many events in and around Brussels and Antwerp and the collective hosts their weekly radioshow on BRUZZ since 2010. Together with 3 fellow Supafly DJ’s she tours as the only female DJ-quartet in the country. MikiGold played as an opening act for Zap Mama, Speech Debelle, Moka Only, Yarah Bravo, Eternia, Little Dragon, HER, NAO... and played in clubs all over Belgium as well as Paris, Amsterdam, Vienna, Hamburg...
