Lukas Kranzelbinder was born in 1988 in Klagenfurt, Austria. He lives in Vienna and works as a bass player, composer and in the field of music management. He completed his training with Peter Herbert at the Anton Bruckner Private University in Linz, where he completed his double bass studies with distinction in 2014. In 2016 he was the youngest musician to date to be commissioned to give the opening concert of the Saalfelden Jazz Festival, which he used to found the seven-strong formation Shake Stew. Kranzelbinder has celebrated great successes and euphoric reactions in the international arts pages with her in recent years.
