Description
Joshua Dellaert studied bass guitar at the Ghent Conservatory with Maarten Weyler, Stefan Lievestro and Christophe Devisscher. He is the regular bassist for numerous groups such as Skordatura (avant-garde jazz), ten adem (spoken word), Molten Penguin (jazz/breakbeat), Ænima (Tool tribute band), Mati Le Dee (Indie), and is a much sought-after session musician in musicals, musical theatre, cover bands, revues, etc.
He has shared the stage and recorded with various bands and artists (Humble Grumble, Wasdaman, Sarah Ferri, Zjef Vanuytsel, Jan Dewilde, Kris Debruyne, Kiss the Anus of a Black Cat, Arkestri, The Kingdom of Dillian, Gggrrreta, and many others.
In addition to bass guitar and double bass, he also plays drums. At the moment, he is studying with Dré Pallemaerts at the LUCA School of Arts.
He is also a jazz, pop & rock teacher and coordinator at STAP Roeselare and CAZ Oostende.
