David "Dijf" Sanders is a Belgian multi-instrumentalist who mixes electronic music with acoustic music. His debut album Mating Season from 2004 received little attention. The successor, To be a Bob, received rave reviews. Sanders' third album Homesick was nominated for a Music Industry Award in the 'best artwork' category. For the Canvas documentary Soundtrack nominated for an Emmy Award. Commissioned by Europalia, multi-instrumentalist Dijf Sanders went to Java, in search for the sound of the Indonesian island.
