Bruno Vandenberghe is an audio-graphical artist & record collector. He works in printmaking, sound art, audiovisual installations & dj-performances. Layering, interference & the mix are keywords in his work process. Those arise from the appropriation of optical phenomena or auditive source material. Inspiration comes from the record collection that largely exists out of jazz, soul, funk, reggae, world, ethnic-grooves, afro, abstract & experimental… Bruno & I go way back...we were classmates at the age of 17. We shared a passion back then, and we still do today. Music & records is our common interest. His "weak" point is Free Jazz, but for this mix he kept it quite accessible.
