A curator and label owner, one half of Church Of Sound and founder of the London based Total Refreshment Centre and global sound orientated Club Makossa. Lex regulary hosts radio shows on Worldwide FM, Le Mellotron, and TSOnyc. Originally from Paris, his musical education started as a teen in the 90’s growing up on US & FR hip hop. The musical obsession quickly opened to genres Jazz, funk, latin, soul and reggae… Quickly followed by a new addiction to west African funk, Caribbean and Brazilian grooves. Not one dj set goes without a healthy dose of outernational sounds. Played alongside Gilles Peterson, Louie Vega, Lefto, Yussef Kamaal, Makaya Mc Craven, Ezra Collective, Dayme Arocena, Moses Boyd, Comet Is Coming, Sons of Kemet, Kokoroko,...
