Dr Rubberfunk Mix Of The Month May 2005

In 2004, and throughout 2005, I was creating weekly 10-15 minute mixes for the Vic McGlynn show on BBC 6 Music. These were broadcast on a Friday afternoon and the slot became known as 'The 3.33 from 5G' (5G was the studio at Broadcasting House) It was lots of fun to do, and I pretty much had free reign over what I played, with a bit of a nod towards the playlist, often in the form of alternative mixes or reworkings of tracks on the playlist at the time. The Head Of Music said my mix feature was 'essential diary listening' - which was nice.

In 2005 I started glueing these little sections together with extra tracks into longer CD length mixes as my 'Mix Of The Month' series, this is the second from May 2005. More to come!
