Since 2004 Harriet has been an actively practicing Nichiren Buddhist and is a member of a socially engaged Buddhist organisation called the Soka Gakkai International (SGI). Translated into English Soka Gakkai means 'value-creating society'. The primary goal of this organisation is to become a strong, united force able to break through prejudice and conflict - so transcending the perceived divisions of national or race boundaries. She'd like to talk about how this revolutionary practice has transformed her own life amid countless others and how it can awaken humanity to the unlimited potential and inherent dignity of all life!
