Hello again, Poetry Lovers, Here's OUR POETRY: The Music of Being Human Show #68. This week's featured artist is Max Terry Fishel who burst onto our local poetry scene at January's Open Mic with a fantastic, unscripted performance. His local connection is his daughter who lives in Folkestone, from whence he came that evening. He's actually from Liverpool, lives in London and is essentially a performance poet. Themes arising from Max's work include different regional and cultural perspectives and mixed physical and psychological abilities - Max writes about his work in that field. He is joined in this show by Charlotte Daly (Irish), Irving Benjamin (Scottish), Alison King (English), Etta Wilkinson (an incredibly able ten-year-old), Ron Ogilvie (Dundonian), Amy Kemp-Jones (Kentish, dyslexia, dyscalculia, neurodiversity) and Mark Crump (Brummie via Dover living with Parkinsons.)
