Hi there, Poetry Lovers,
Here's Show # 58 of OUR POETRY: The Music of Being Human, coming from Deal Radio to explore and celebrate poetic voices around Deal, around Kent and around the World. Featured artist this week is Irving Benjamin, writer, poet, euphonium player and Professor of Surgery. He usually writes anout love, life and loss as it affects himself, his family and his friends. He confesses he does not really do nature poems, history poems or random observation poems. Hence, of course, they are this week's theme, taken up by Sarah Nash, Andrew Larner, Lorraine Wake, Bill Lewis, Celine Sabin-Dawson, Tania Oriol, Nick Goodall and Katie Campbell. If you live in striking distance of Deal, Huw Thomas is also here to tell of a brilliant concert coming to St.George's Church inb Deal on Saturday 16th November - 'Released', in aid of the awsome charity - The Liberty Choir.
