OUR POETRY: The Music of Being Human explores and celebrates the vast array of poetic voices around Deal and around the World. This week's featured artist is Karl Mercer, whose work arises in part from his experience as a man diagnosed with autism. He gives rise to a theme of 'difference.' Other poets are Sue Flory, Trevor Breedon, Ali Emmerson, Katie Campbell, Ron Ogilvie, Helen Matthews and Wendell Berry, an American poet whose work is read by a good friend, John Coats.
