Description
This is OUR POETRY The Music of Being Human #47, exploring and celebrating poetic voices around Deal, around Kent and on this occasion around Cardigan in farthest Wales. The featured artist is Pamela Gaunt (of that parish) whose poems about reaching 50 and then reaching 70 inspired the theme of Ageing. Other poets this week are Sarah Nash, my good self, Helen Matthews, Robert Marsh, Avril Gray, Bill Lewis, Joanna West, Steve Wheeler, Jill Burford and the late, great Dylan Thomas (Swansea - born) read by the very present, great Michael Sheen (Port Talbot bred). We explore various attitudes to ageing, our own and our older loved ones', and apart from recognising that they run the gamut, come to not very clear conclusion. That's life. I do hope you enjoy the show.
Love
