Mr C hosts a LIVE 3 hour show with the Directors, writers, cast and crew from the film. The film is a nostalgic story of the hopes and dreams of a rock band in 1984. THE MINER’S SON depicts how a year of industrial action and violent unrest changed the face of a small tight knit community and their way of life forever. A bitterness that is still very much felt today. The film focuses on a bygone industrial past of a Kent town in South East England. Some of the characters are based on real people and true events from the day. The findings for this story are factual, and sourced from friends and family who lived through this turbulent time.
