BJO is led by Michael McNeill and John Bacon, and is the perfect blend of big group and small group, and the inside and outside. This show they did in 2018 is called “reflections of 1968,” featuring re-imaginations of tunes released in 1968. This show originally aired on Jazz90.1 as part of the "Live at Bop Shop Records."
BJO is Kelly Buegher, alto sax, Nelson Rivera, tenor sax and percussion, Steve Baczkowski, bari sax, Tim Clarke, trumpet, Phil Sims, trombone, Michael McNeill, piano, Joe Goehle, bass, and John Bacon, drums. In this show they were joined by poet Michael Hopkins.
