Back in July 2000. I was 23. I was searching myself as a dj, desperately trying to find other's aknowlegment by explaining what I was doing. What it was to select tracks, to find the perfect match between them, to blend it smoothly to create a trip ... I was so into it that I wrote a 15 pages booklet about this set ! I still have it in my archives ... When I listen to it again, I must say, it's probably the first set I'm proud of. I was mixing with my pair of technics turntables, all by ear and it is pretty good in terms of technical skills ... going from breakbeats to "4 to the floor" rhythmics with some ease. The melodical trip is also interesting with a strong selection of smart producers. A lot of the track played here could be easily played again nowadays !
