I spent a lot of time on this "Volume 07". I wanted it as a real "album", mixed in "live" conditions with vinyls, but with a strong will to create something that I would like to listen again and again years later ! I remember myself in my student room, carefully selecting tracks, testing different ways to blend them together, organizing the set as a journey with a start, a middle and a conclusion. I re-recorded it maybe 20 or 30 times !
Fun fact about the opening track : it's from the OST of the movie "Lola Rennt" that I was watching at the time. I felt immediately in love with the great dark tribal oneiric vibes of this track and decided to use it as an intro for the set ...
25 years later, I think this album is still a strong piece in my collection ! Hope you'll enjoy !
