Being able to connect with music lovers from home is so amazing. You're no longer alone and you can share your passion. I’ve recently had some dark days, where I’ve not been able to reach out to my family or dearest friends. I couldn’t even do the things that make me HAPPY! I couldn’t play or listen to music. This has been a very difficult period for me and I’ve found it so hard to speak out.
I woke up today and realised it was June 21st, the Summer Solstice, the longest day. With such an auspicious day and to make myself happy, I tried to mix a few tracks. Today was a good day … I felt like I was living and breathing this mix. For me, mixing is a deeply spiritual thing, the ultimate connection with music.
Doing this mix today, has somehow helped to defragment my mind. This is one of the best days I’ve had for a long time. Thank you to everyone that reached out to me.
