Conversations About Race: How Do We Talk About Structural Racism (part 2). Ep 3

This third episode of Conversations About Race continues the conversation about structural racism and continues to reference the Munroe Bergdorf story from episode two. Here, Carol Sidney talks to Professor Robbie Shilliam, former Runnymede Trustee, and formerly of Queen Mary University of London, now professor in the department of political science at Johns Hopkins University in Baltimore, USA.

In his academic work, Robbie strips away the colonial lens and uses fresh analyses to provide a more complete interpretation of history. Here, he takes us right back to the original 1600s meaning of the workd `race'.
