As part of the exchange program with the Anou cooperative, we visited Cooperative Tithrite in the village of Ait Hamza, south of Fes, where we met with Kenza Oulghada, president and founder of the cooperative. We discussed the situation of the cooperative, working conditions of artisans locally and throughout Morocco, and why the model of Anou represents a viable alternative for a more sustainable craft market.
