As part of the Anou exchange project, we visited artist Abdeljalil Saoui in Moulay Bouchta, north of Fes. Sauoli's practice in based in land art, which he frames as applied research by working with materials, conditions and traditions of the local territory he is based in. Together with sound artist Gilles Aubry and architect Carlos Perez Marin he initiated the project Sakhra Radio, which started as a series of encounters at his studio in Moulay Bouchta and evolved in a radiophonic archive of diverse material.
