Description
Below the surface of the Ruhr area lies a system of underground tunnels, digs
and shovels. Bunker facilities run for miles under the cities – connecting like
tubes to ever more interconnected networks that flow into an organ of
reso-nance. The soundfile is based on the fascination for these inanimate and
forgotten places and plays with the idea of underground life while the surface
is no longer viable. The network as retreat.
Multiface is the a duo from Dortmund that engages with the evolution of
emotional expectations and utopias of cohabitation in our time.
