I spent December 2018 - January 2019 in the little lakeside town of Chapala,
Mexico, at the 360 Xochi Quetzal
[https://www.transartists.org/air/360-xochi-quetzal] artist residency. I made
recordings each day which can be accessed in the posts on this site
[http://momentumproject.blogspot.com/]and on SoundCloud
[https://soundcloud.com/natgrant/sets/chapala]. The new and exciting part of
this particular Momentum project is the addition of underwater recordings, made
in various parts of the lake using a pair of hydrophones (underwater
microphones).
The 28 daily recordings have been remixed into one sound art work which is
available on bandcamp [http://natgrantmusic.bandcamp.com/], and will be
exhibited in Melbourne later in 2019.
