Originally Guella was presented as a multichannel soundscape composition which
has been installed in the Arts and Heritage Centre at Wells Next The Sea,
Norfolk. The field recordings were made in and around Wells and include the
yearly pirate festival amongst other sounds, and the oral histories taken are
residents of Wells discussing their memories of the town, plus some extra
musical elements to complement and tie together the work.
