*Babakan Siliwangi (also known as Baksil) is a 3.8 Hectare urban forest in
Bandung, Indonesia. It is part of the green belt of Bandung and is a recreation
place for the locals there. On 27 September, 2011, the United Nations certified
Babakan Siliwangi as a world urban forest.
The location of Babakan Siliwangi which is not far from the city center (located
north of downtown Bandung) makes Babakan Siliwangi become Green Open Space /
Ruang Terbuka Hijau (RTH) which is most affordable by the citizens of Bandung.
