XIV Hidden Reverse hits dub jungle bottom and welcomes 23rd Suspect. Under this moniker is Lukas - a dj and visual artist from a new wave generation of Lithuanian artists. Lukas started his dj'ing as a junglist and has set the soundtrack for various exhibition openings, some of which he organized himself. Now he's moved to broader waters both musically and conceptually and has just set up his platform World Wide Sound Web with a coupla more talented new DJs.
Luke's set taks through new and old experimental grooves: exotic scents, oldschool breaks revived new, beautiful arhythmia, metal machine slabs and conscious discord. Whenever we would exchange music with him, Luke's music sounded like something I enjoy but... from the future. The collapsing Hidden Reverse mansion suddenly is lit with neon and the garden gnomes we so love laughing with get suddenly polished with spray latex.
