This episode focuses on the thriving 90's Ukrainian scene of experimental/minimalist folk music. Circling around Polish label Koka Records and such creative souls as Svitlana Nianio and Alexander Yurchencko among others, it established a wonderful world of dreamy, deep and emotional sound. In a way, it reminds the early 4AD days with its experiments in ecstatic soundscapes, emotionally-charged atmospheres and refined post-punk flirtations.
