Rufus became a house dj randomly, because in actual fact, his background was more in instrumental and organic music and when he was a teenager he even hated dance music. But something happened after high school, he discovered raves, he got high and he changed his mind…
This should give you an idea of the mentality behind Rufus’s show; it’s a mix free flowing music, which takes inspiration from different genres, however, always returning to house.
The show first aired in Florence, 5 years ago, on the well known Italian radio station Controradio. He then decided to take a break after relocating to Berlin. Now Rufus is ready to give the project a second spin behind the decks at Cashmere Radio.
